Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, lives up to its reputation of being spectacular. Declared a world heritage site, the falls were discovered by explorer Dr. David Livingston in 1855. The natives call the Falls Mosi-Oa-Tunya or "the smoke that thunders."
The main attraction is the Falls, but there are plenty of other things to see and do, including great shopping for African handcrafts and intricate wood carvings.

One of the great ways to see the Falls is by helicopter, or the Flight of Angels.

A breakfast or sundowner cruise on the Zambezi is a great way to safely see hippos, crocks and elephants while dining or sipping on the mighty river.

Other things to do include white water rafting, jet boating, gorge swinging, and the world famous bungy jump from the bridge over the Zambezi.
